Collection: Shingled Solar Panels

Solar shingles are a new and attractive alternative to traditional photovoltaic systems. They can generate electricity to power a house or feed excess energy back into the grid. In some cases, efficient solar shingles can fully meet a building's electrical needs, depending on its location, roof space, and orientation.

Like standard solar panels, solar shingles are modular units that connect together in strings. These strings are then connected to an inverter, which converts the direct current (DC) power into household alternating current (AC) power. Mounting requirements may vary depending on the type and material of the solar shingles, with some requiring special installation and compatibility and others able to fit with regular roof shingles.
